This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected from all individuals involved in CORE activities, including players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and partners. It complements the CORE EDI Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
1. Core Principles
Respect: Treat everyone with dignity, regardless of background or identity.

Integrity: Act honestly and uphold the spirit of cricket.
Safety: Prioritize physical and emotional well-being of all participants.
Fair Play: Compete ethically and avoid any form of cheating or manipulation.
2. Behavioural Expectations
No discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation.
No use of offensive language, gestures or hate speech.
Maintain professionalism in all CORE events and communications.
Follow health, safety and safeguarding protocols at all times.
3. Safeguarding Cross-References
Adhere to CORE Safeguarding Policy for minors and vulnerable adults.
Mandatory background checks for coaches and volunteers.
Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to designated officers.
Follow chaperone and travel protocols for youth participants.
4. Reporting & Accountability
Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, removal from events, or referral to authorities. Reports can be made via CORE’s online form or directly to Safeguarding/EDI Officers.

This Code should be read alongside the CORE EDI Policy, Safeguarding Policy, Health & Safety Policy and Tournament Regulations.
